Restorative yoga is a wonderful opportunity to disconnect from the frenetic activity of daily life and let your speedometer return to 0 mph. Blankets, bolsters, and blocks are used to totally support the body, allowing your muscles to let go of habitual tension, the mind to quiet, and the spirit to experience peace. To enhance relaxation, hands-on Reiki energy, guided meditations, and crystal sound bowl vibrations will be offered throughout the workshop.
The slower pace and deep breathing in restorative yoga trigger the parasympathetic nervous system. Science has discovered that restorative yoga is even better than sleep for releasing muscle tension, lowering heart rate and blood pressure, and strengthening the immune system.
Melt tension, nurture yourself and leave feeling fully renewed. This is a practice for everyone!
